Yes – we ask for first publishing rights (to cover the appearance in the magazine) but after that your work is yours, and the rights revert to you

>>and are there profit sharings for any sales?
Writers are given a token payment for their work, which varies depending on the cost of each issue to make, the number of other writers in the magazine, and the length of the piece within the magazine. Ambit Magazine is a non-profit, so I guess technically you are getting a huge fee in proportion to our profits, but there is no sharings system in place.
